Dennis Schroder led the Toronto Raptors to a 130-111 win over the Milwaukee Bucks on Nov. 2 with a double-double of 24 points and 11 assists. His performance was recognized by his wife, Ellen Ziolo, who posted a photo of her husband on her Instagram story featuring a smiley face emoji with five heart-shaped eyes.
The Raptors were underdogs, but Schroder’s performance helped the Raptors end a three-game losing streak. Pascal Siakam also contributed 26 points, seven rebounds and six assists.
The Bucks had limited scoring from Yannis Adetokounmpo and Damian Lillard, who were held to 16 and 15 points, respectively.
Schroeder is fresh off a successful summer with the German national team, which won the 2023 FIBA World Cup in Manila. He and his teammates received a hero’s welcome for their efforts.
