According to journalist Romano, Chelsea and Monaco have reached an agreement on the signing of Dissacida for a transfer fee of 45 million euros on a five-year contract and will undergo a medical this week.
Romano added that Manchester United and Newcastle did not submit offers for the player despite expressing interest.
The 25-year-old Frenchman, who stands at 1’90” and plays as a right center back, will fill in for Wesley Fofana, who is out due to injury.
Di Sassi, who joined Monaco in 2020 for €13 million, made 49 appearances for the side in all competitions last season and now has a market value of €30 million.
